the chicasCongrats to Monica and Rick who will tie the knot in a short two weeks. They are an adorable couple.
The evening was full of all things girly. My favorite part was the strawberry daiquiris my sister created a la Coco bacardi rum.. Orgasmic is really the only way to describe the half glass I indulged in. Maybe that is because it was my first taste of sugar in over a week, but I highly recommend trying it.
It was a fun night, everyone was starting to get pretty rowdy (I self-designated myself the DD), we arrived downtown at "the mynt" (apparently the real way to spell mint is so not in right now). I peaced it after less than 5 minutes, I forgot that people are allowed to smoke inside of bars in Cali.. so so so nasty.
So, alas, I took myself and my half a daiquiri memory home and called it a night. Another tame weekend passed - another weekend closer to moving back to vic.
