We celebrated Bri's birthday in true style. The whole day was really amazing but my favorite part was the kayaking. We went on a 4.5 hour trip around clayoquot sound. I won't even try to describe it but it was unbelievable. I cannot wait to go again. It was a bit of a different experience than my last kayak adventure (encaptured in a previous blog entry somewhere).
Yesterday just before we left an Orca and her baby swam right by our condo while we were having dinner on the deck. THEN, while we were driving home and a Black bear and her cub ran across the road.
Anyways, all in all a great weekend, lucky for me I get to return home to a math test and a cold. Saweeeeet.

james and I were thinking about getting some peeps together sometime and going up to tofino for some surfing/kayaking/wine drinking.

Heather, don't bother lying to us. Kayaking is probably not on your agenda in Tofino. However, a /reefer madness should be added! And yes, count me in.

it's actually called a sun star if I'm not mistaken. That was a wicked weekend--could we've had any better weather? I definitely feel a bit indebted to your parents at this point though... I better get on that thank you card.
