after just finishing writing a comment on Bri's blog regarding how boring blogs all about oneself are I would like to follow up... with a post... all. about. ME.
I think there are a few noteworthy happenings to inform those who are interested in my personal life..
1) My parents came to visit this weekend. Exciting endeavors include:
*whale watching (for free) with them and Brian, we saw 4 killer whales. I L.O.V.E whales. Love love love.
*dinner at Carden Street West (so ridiculously good.. GO THERE..seriously). It was time for the Gregg and Corbett parents to have a look at who raised their child's significant other. It went well - so well in fact that my parents were invited over to the Gregg's for dinner the next night. All in all a great experience for all parties involved.
*shopping with the parents. Usually you expect to get some fun new items since they take pity on you for being a starving student.. What did I get? Absolutely nothing. I feel robbed. What did they get? Plenty.
*my Dad's birthday. Happy birthday Daddy!
2) I went to see my lab instructor today to see if I could change to a different section so that my schedule was better suited to watch ANTM Wednesday night. Yes Heather count me in.Your house, Wendesday night, we'll judge the ugly ones. Some things take precedence over others in life. ANTM is high on that list.
3) One more topic.. not related to me parse but nonetheless of importance. It's Brian's birthday on Saturday... The big 22.. The little guy's growing up. Since I am taking him away (much to his Mommys dismay) to Tofino he will not be here to collect the presents you buy him. But, fear not, the following weekend there will be fun to be had. Try to get him too drunk and I'll roundhouse you.. I am the one who has to put up with his angst once we get home. Consider yourselves warned...

Since your dad celebrates both his English and his Canadian birthdays, I've decided to celebrate my birthday twice as well--once in Tofino and once back home. From now on, I have my Tofino bday and my victoria bday.
Congratulations on the lab switch, Katie.
You are still in the running towards becoming America's Next Top Model
C U on Wednesday baby!
