you want to be on top?

After hosting ANTM at my house this week I am now in bed with my lap top on my lap (shocking, I know) and my studious man by my side on his lap top.. working.. I, however, am going to spend my time much more wisely by writing a blog regarding my opinions of tonight's episode.

First, let me say I was a bit disappointed with the transformations this season. They only cut one girls hair short, the kept a lot of the girls hair the same length or color and they even died one girls hair "fire" red. Ew. Whatever happened to making more than one girl cry by chopping all her beloved locks into nothing more than a few scraggly ends?

Noted:
-Monique being a complete ho-bag to the other girls, spending 3.5 hours on the phone and flicking something from under he wet towel onto another girl's face.. WHO DOES THAT?
-I am fairly certain there is at least one girl on the show with an eating disorder.
-Jay's pink hat.
-the bitch fight that is sure to come next week
-as of present Melrose is my favorite.

I will say that I did quite enjoy some of the lingo used. Pehaps it was because "girls night watching america's next top model" turned into "girls" equaling Heather, Ben and me and the "non-girls" being Brian, James, Marshall and Rob. The "non-girls" kept "giggling" at the comments the girls were making like "she smells like an egg".. Damn, since I forget shows as soon as they are over (who got voted off again?) I cannot think of any other examples, there were more.. mark my words.

I am excited for next Wednesday. Until then, it's back to the monotony of not watching T.V and filling my nights with school. I'm sure that will not be the case, but I want some sympathy people. Is it bad that I am already sick of school...?

Katie. I am trying to read Oedipus The King. A Greek play from about 436 BC about a guy who marries and sleeps with his mother.

All I want is sleep. So what do I do, I procrastinate any way I can.

I'm beginning to think this 'hey lets take some courses at UVic' thing might not have been the best idea...no, it was. I'm actually really enjoying it. I just don't like reading. I don't do words.

P.S. more importantly. Alot of those girls have got to go! Monique - Oh My God.

Eeee my husband is yelling at me to get back to reading. Damn being married to a teacher.

Monique = trainwreck.

I also have suspicions regarding eating disorders...since there's always at least one and at least one of these girls has some fairly serious emotional issues.

GOD I can't wait until next week.

That was not said in a mad tone, just a "i don't like being called kate" kind of tone..

I read it and it sounded kind of mean.

You are swell.
