Friday night started with "date night". Carol and Paulette took us out to Spice Jammer (sooo good, I will return) and then we headed to the governor General's property to check out the carved pumpkin display. It was awesome, it is on until halloween night I believe so if you get a chance check it out.
Saturday was spent gathering materials. Our costumes of asian tourists went over well, although I have to say, next year I will dress up as something a bit more neutral. As you can see by the pictures the cute Japanese girls even enjoyed us.
We started off at Marshall's place for a little predrinking party, we got ourselves good and ready to tackle the lineup and headed downtown. Surprisingly enough nowhere has a lineup at 8:30 if you can believe it, we got straight in to Upstairs, with no cover may I add. Benine worked her magic by telling the bouncer we were with "scott's party". It's probably because she is ridiculously good looking that it worked. Score, $8 saved already. Highlights of the bar included:
1) owning the dance floor.
2) tequila shots.
3) stage dancing (there was no falling off surprisingly).
4) watching people dressed up in the weirdest outfits dirty dancing with each other. I think I stared for a solid ten minutes when we first got in, I was in absolute awe. It was SO funny.
5) an honest to god, real life dance off between Marshall (zoolander) and unknown gay/metero Hansel. It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I could not believe my eyes (Marshall dominated).
..and when we grew tired of that we headed over to a house party which earned some points by having candy in a bowl which I loaded up my fanny pack with, and when mine was full I moved on to Brian's. Drinking makes me hungry and since there was no pizza...
All in all a good night enjoyed by me with no hangover which is brilliant.
Happy Halloween!
...in the photos note the amount of booze spilt on me (the doing of person's other than myself), the dance off, and the popsicles (maybe we should replace the twelve we ate..)

That was a wicked night with a horrible ending. Note to self: Don't send an overly drunk guy --who's dressed up as a hindu-- home in a cab with a hindu driver. Okay I'll focus on the positives... Marshall got some action... and so did katie, but that was from my sister... so I guess that doens't count for me.
I wasn't going to add that to the blog but now since people are probably wondering what the "horrible" ending was..
We sent Ben's bro home and when we got back after the party he had some pretty brutal cuts on his face due to likely being jumped by some punk kids, who knows really. Luckily Nurse Jane was there to help us out and he is going to be fine..
But ya, it was really horrible.
Hence:
1) the no action for Brian
and 2) the decision to be something like a kitten or a puppy next year..
There is no way you're going to be a kitten or a puppy... I think we should be black people.
What the HELL is Heather dressed as?
You all look fabulous. Brian's shirt is classic.
