This may be the most effort I have ever put into a blog, only to realize it was all wasted (except the first attempt). I did this survey in the library and then posted it, which it failed to do (so I thought). I decided to entertain myself and do it again. I posted it. Then I saw that there were two copies of each post.. So I had to delete one (I like the new one better) and repost it with this explanation..
Yourself: I'm pretty neat.
Your partner: amazes me endlessly, and is the best cuddler in the whole world.
Your hair: is pretty plain, nothing too exciting, but nothing too colorful.
Your Mother: is the only person who, without fail, sounds so happy to hear from me everytime I call that I can't help but smile.
Your Father: is brilliant. He only gets better with time.
Your Favorite Item: Mycee.
Your dream last night: there was a snowstorm in Tofino and I was up there with a bunch of people. There were bunk beds. It was random - as per usual.
Your Favorite Drink: dole sparkling grapefruit definitely tops the list lately.
Your Dream Car: a black audi A4, it may not be the flashiest car, but it is practical for the life I want to lead.
Your Dream Home: on a cliff overlooking the ocean with the mountains coming out of the water. I would have a jacuzzi in the bathroom that is full of windows overlooking the view. It would have a huge kitchen and everything would be pretty open and inviting. It would be big but also small enough that every room would get used. It will not have a room that is reserved for special occasions only.
The Room You Are In: Mark and Erin's basement in Vancouver.
Your Ex: is my friend.
Your fear: getting in a bad car accident, or having someone close to me die.
Where you Want to be in Ten Years? happy, married with kids, enjoying a job I am good at, a bit more traveled, with life's priorities straight.
Who you hung out with last night: Bri, as usual. We worked on our essays in Clearihue.
What You're Not: bitter.
Muffins: I'm fairly indifferent. There are far superior baked goods that I would rather indulge in.
One of Your Wish List Items: not sure. Maybe a new kitten, but not yet, so I don't know.
The Last Thing You Did: I proof-read my essay one last time and sent it off. ahh relief.
What You Are Wearing: pj capris and my FITCH t-shirt.
Your favorite weather: blue skies and sunshine in the summer with a slight breeze and mild temperatures with freshly fallen snow and light gray sky in the winter.
Your Favorite Book: I know this much is true by Wally Lamb.
Last thing you ate: chocolate cake on the ferry.
Your Life: blessed in every way.
Your mood: sleepy.
Your Best Friends: are people who can know the real me and understand my character.
What are you thinking about right now: how fun the trip up to Tofino was to visit my parents.
Your car: will one day be an audi A4 if all goes according to plan, or if I steal one (which is not part of the plan).
What are you doing at the moment: laying in bed with my lap top waiting for Brian to finish his paper so we can go to bed.
Your summer: consisted of work and a high maintenance long-distance relationship, and some memorable trips. It was nice to spend it at home with my family.
Relationship status: completely content and happily in love.
What is on your TV: only ANTM lately - which I missed tonight... who got voted off?
What is the weather like: well we're in Vancouver so of course it is raining.
When is the last time you laughed: hard? on the ferry, Brian was making fun of the way I was saying "wang". He laughed at me, and I laughed at him laughing at me. Call us easily entertained.
Okay, that's it. No more surveys. I did one and that is enough to fulfill my survey fix of the year.

Three cheers for Wally Lamb. What an amazing author. I think I'll dust him off this weekend and give him another go.
Do you have a British accent? Why do I think that you have a British accent?
You guys are in Vancouver?
WTF?
do I have a british accent..? Is this the question at hand?
no, I personally do not have an english accent, but since I grew up in Ontario and my parents both have accents it appears I tend to say some words differently than most people around these island parts..
Okay so the only thing you've hinted about liking lately is the A4. Contary to what you may think, I am not going to get you a car for Christmas. One day, however, we will be so rich that cars will be our stocking stuffers.
ps. My dream car/house are the same as yours.
pps. your ten year goals are a bit shady.. ha ha jk let's reproduce
right now?
yes please.
Gotcha. Perhaps it's your clever usage of the word "brilliant", which is highly underrated and totally British.
