it was definitely a chick flick in every sense of the word. A few times I looked over with the "I'm sorry, I didn't know it would be THIS girly" look.. He took it well, but he didn't really enjoyed it.from a girl's point of view who loves chick flicks, I have to say it was not what everything I had hoped for. It was cute and quite entertaining but it dragged on a bit in parts.
verdict: 6/10, not as good as "love actually" or "the family stone".. the last two Christmas movies that I thought were lovely.

I saw this movie on Saturday and thought it was pretty cute. You're right though..."Love Actually" it was not. That movie is second only to "A Christmas Story" as far as best Christmas movies ever go.
I did not hate on it becuase it was a girly movie... I just thought it could have been a lot better. There was too much filler material...the same story could have been told in a movie half the length
Somewhat like..."You, Me and Dupree", perhaps.
