a moment to reminisce

I love this giant piece of driftwood..to others it may be just that - a giant piece of driftwood - but to me it has special meaning. The photo was taken a few months after Brian and I first sat on this log last april on our first "date" (if meeting up at ten at night to go for a walk on the beach constitutes a date)..

aww back in the days when we had just started dating. Who doesn't love the awkwardness and the unknowing of just starting to like someone? Not that it beats the comfort and ease you gain for one another over time. I'll take farting over nervously anticipating phone calls any day, but it is fun to look back. I'm sure everyone can remember that feeling of butterflies that come with all those firsts..

anyways, maybe soon we will go down and visit the giant piece of driftwood that will hopefully be down at dallas road beach forever.. would a piece of wood that big really get swept back to sea anytime soon?

I'll take farting over nervously anticipating phone calls as well! I think we should have a drink..or something.. on that log when we finish exams.

Awww... young relationships. Back when seven months was actually a long time.

So sweet!

i have to say I don't enjoy anonymous comments.. I don't know who the person is and therefore I cannot guage whether or not they are being mean or nice..

and since I tend to jump on the defensive I usually try to think of mean things to say back..

but since I don't really like to be mean I usually just keep these comments to myself..

Like now.

It's red and rhymes with 'loner'

HAHAHA

I actually have a favorite piece of driftwood too. It has no special meaning to anyone other than me, and is the absolute perfect tanning spot. It's huge and it's been there for years, so hopefully yours will stay put too.

No, it doesn't rhyme with loner.
