holiday highlights..

after many moons of not blogging I figured an update was in order. Two and a half weeks away, as usual, flew by. Is was wonderful to be home. I enjoyed the comfort of mommy and daddy's house and went to great measures to ensure nothing but ultimate relaxation. Before Bri arrived I became obsessed with Gray's Anatomy, sometimes staying up until 3 a.m until my eyes finally protested and refused to stay open any longer.

On the 26th we ventured out to the saddledome to watch the flames take on the nuckers. Sweet victory was mine, well not mine, but the nucks. I relished in 10 seconds of my 15 minutes of fame by appearing on the jumbotron twice alongside my sister. The second time I grabbed my shirt and pointed to the canucks logo which caused the entire saddledome to boo at me.. I was so proud. Although we won, that was by far the highlight of my evening.

New Year's Eve was a success, no one got drunk, no tears were shed, no vomit was ejected.. Although most of you likely saw at least one of these, I am happy that I did not. Drinking has been off my radar screen lately, ice cream however, made a brief reappearance. Brian and I were in charge of NYE dessert and tried our hand at the ice cream maker. We made banana toffee ice cream. It was SO GOOD. It was the first time I have had ice cream since I stopped eating dairy.. the cheat was so worth it! The pajama and champagne exchange was great, especially for me. Brian got my name and ordered me my favorite - abercrombie and fitch p.j's.. I'm so lucky :) We played Cranium, and headed to the hot tub at 11:45 to ring in 2007.

Now back to reality.. school and a cold to kick it all off, but at least I have my new espresso maker to dull the pain. Lovely.

HAPPY 2007 EVERYONE!

Welcome back! I have missed you in my daily blogstalking routine. Your family looks like a lot of fun...I love the pyjama tradition.

The hot tub doesn't sound too bad either.

Feel better soon!
