recently, a 1035 pound Great White Shark was caught off the shores of Ucluelet, B.C. by a commercial fishing boat. The shark took off towing the 42 foot fishing boat backwards through the water at about 7 Knots. Just like in JAWS, the boat was taking on water over the stern and the crew watched as the shark would actually jump completely out of the water at times. This went on for an hour before the shark finally drowned.
poor sharky.

EEEE!
Stay dry this weekend Katie and enjoy your break. Give a wave as you drive past Shawnigan.
OH MY GOD.
I will NOT be going in the water.
I hope James doesn't get eaten by a shark.
one of the photos has a phone number on it.. so I googled the area code, and it is in PEI..
I was had.. Damn, why do I believe everything I read on the internet?
Apparantley there are stories saying the shark was caught all over the place, so at least I'm not the only gullible one.
We are all suckers..
to note: I hunted myself a tiger shark off the shores of chesterman's beach this weekend.
I'll post the photos soon.
