if the goal for our reading break was to get rained on consider it a success. Tofino was wet. The drive up was wet. The drive back was ever wetter. Even the inside of the car was wet, though we managed to rig up some quality rain catchers using zellers bags and such.

don't let the photos of us on the beach without rain fool you.. I think that was the 45 minutes of the whole trip where we weren't soaked.

an intense game of "beer olympics" was played at night after the keg had been tapped. Even though I did not indulge in even one sip of beer I still participated, pretending to drink my wine when taking a drink was in order, nobody seemed to notice or care, as long as they were getting drunker that was all that mattered. The games lasted for probably three hours. I was thoroughly impressed with the effort put into it, I was even more impressed that the two organizers managed to keep 12 drunk people focused long enough to explain each game and have everyone follow it through.
