the happenings of november 16th, 2006.

random thought or happening #1 - the beauty of blogging is that you can rant and rave about anything you please - in theory. I agree with Chris on this one. I have ideas regarding what I want to say, but usually I end up at least semi-sensoring what I actually write. Who knows whose parents may be reading this, my Mom keeps asking to see my blog, what if one day she figures it out on her own? I try to keep the swearing to a minimum and the strange thoughts inside my twisted little mind. Balls.

random thought or happening #2 - I got my lap top back. After having the hard drive break after having the damn thing since May I was not in the least bit impressed. However, HP gave me amazing customer service and replaced it no problem. So many businesses these days have such crap service. One hundred percent satisfaction on this one.

random thought or happening #3 - Medical Anthropology 312 - this class requires no attention span whatsoever. I spent the hour and a half looking at the strange people and wondering certain things such as: why did she not brush her hair? why does he have to act so incredibly gay? why is she such a kiss ass? I know none of these wonderings are particularly nice thoughts towards people, but honestly, if you saw the class you'd know what I mean.

random thought or happening #4 - The smell of burnt bones is still lingering in the Gregg residence. We ate the soup tonight that lacked the meat that was supposed to be in there, it was soooo good. Maybe tomorrow we will not have to close the door to the suite downstairs.

random thought or happening #5 - Today before math I was studying with Brian (who was blogging) at Cafe Misto. There was an elder man there having coffee with a friend of his (female). I happened to over hear their conversation due to my habit of eavesdropping and learned that this man had a mail-order bride from China. She knew two words "hello" and "good-bye". What a strange relationship that must be, I can't even wrap my mind around it. Hmm.

random thought or happening #6 - My Dad told me yesterday that him and my Mom are celebrating her 54th birthday climbing Mt. Kenya and then safari-ing the jungles of Africa for 3 weeks. I hope when I am their age I'll be doing things as cool as that. I'm such a proud daughter.

okay this post has gone on long enough. Even I'm a bit bored, which is generally pretty hard to have happen whilst blogging.

seeee ya later.

Mt. Kenya?

That's fairly wicked cool.

Colour me jealous.

Google is a curse as well as a blessing. I was almost the subject of a brutal sacking because I mentioned work-related things (Yes, there is an actual term for it. No, I will not use it) for mentioning what I felt was relatively harmless things (i.e. debt collectors chasing down the boss). He was cranky but not as angry as he could have been. Last month my mother also mentioned that she had found my blog. Cold chills down my spine. I joke about cannibalism, animal sacrifices and hookers. For the love of God, if you're going to talk about people close to you, use pseudonyms.

Ummm... Anthopology full-stop requires little to no attention span. Why do you think I chose that as my major?

Well, that AND the fact that I like to surround myself with uggo's and freaks. The stark contrast emphasizes my OUTER beauty.

Inner beauty is totally overrated.
